Very clean accom, nice meals. Staff are friendly. Fuel is expensive but it is a long way to anywhere.
Great stop on the road to Yulara, meal was excellent and delivered to the room. This is an extremely isolated place so don't expect city facilities.
Friendly helpful staff. Have basics here plus take away food, fuel etc. We are very lucky to have these great Roadhouse on The Great Central Road!
Lived here for 2 months during a work tour in Warburton. There's an adorable cat named Bess and an improbable number of peacocks. Security is an ongoing issue but management made significant investments during my stay to improve the fencing and dissuade thieves. The Roadhouse store is remarkably well stocked considering where it is in the world. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Friendly staff, excellent quality food for overnight guests and comfortable accommodation.Food available over the counter for travellers is limited to fried food and a few items I believe can be ordered fresh from the kitchen depending on availability of ingredients.Fuel pumps recently changed to self service.Diesel and Opal available. Opal replaces Unleaded.If travelling around public holidays, check their trading hours as they are reduced on public holidays.Edit August 2018:Unfortunately there have been an increase in break-ins, including damage to vehicles parked inside the roadhouse overnight.At this stage Id reconsider your need to stay overnight. I am disappointed to have to say that, but would feel irresponsible if I did not bring it to the attention of tourists planning their journey.
