Amazing place. Cooler environment. Not a big area can have a lot of people and still feel alone in there. Eerie but soothing. Great just to sit and take it all in. A short stroll to the little creek and then to the river. Just love it here
One of its kind place in Victoria. The trees are positioned in a perfect square position.When ever you see it's through the forest all the trees are in a straight line.

Worth a visit. Planted by Board of Works (water board) in 1930's it has grown into a magical forest with rows and acoustics only experienced in such an area. Reminded me of Canadian forests with a river down the bottom of this plantation. Great for family and kids imagination will run wild. Added bonus people who frequent have built giant nests throughout the forest floor with sticks and branches from redwood pines. Walk barefoot and feel mother Earth in this enchanted gem.
